WHO WE ARE

About AI Doomsday Survival

AI Doomsday Survival is an independent preparedness publication built around one uncomfortable question: if advanced AI contributes to a severe real-world breakdown, what would ordinary people need to understand and do next?

Our promise: the scenarios can be extreme; the factual claims underneath them cannot be invented.

We cover the worst case on purpose

Most AI coverage stops at jobs, productivity and product launches. We deliberately explore harder possibilities: loss of control, infrastructure disruption, cyber escalation, grid failure, supply-chain interruption, communications breakdown and the cascading effects those failures could have on households and communities.

That does not mean we claim those outcomes are inevitable. We use dramatic scenarios to make low-frequency, high-impact risks easier to think through. Every scenario should tell you what is documented, what is an inference and what is speculative.

Preparedness that still makes sense if the apocalypse never comes

The practical side of this site is intentionally ordinary: water, food, lighting, communications, power, first aid, household plans, offline information and resilient routines. Those preparations are useful during storms, outages, cyber incidents and supply disruption whether or not AI is involved.

How the site is funded

AI Doomsday Survival is not an AdSense or display-advertising site. The commercial model is built around our own preparedness products and, where genuinely useful, clearly disclosed affiliate links. Commercial relationships do not buy editorial conclusions, and affiliate recommendations must be evaluated for usefulness rather than commission size.

Our full rules are in the Advertising & Affiliate Policy.

No invented experts

We do not create fictional author biographies, fake credentials or imaginary organisations to manufacture authority. Where a page relies on official guidance, research papers or named experts, the source should be identifiable. Where a conclusion is ours, it should be presented as analysis rather than borrowed authority.

Corrections

If a factual error is identified, we aim to correct it promptly and materially update the page where necessary. Significant corrections should be noted on the affected article rather than silently buried.
